My vision of photography
Today millions of smartphones users are considering themselves as photographers but taking a selfie in front of a mirror with the phone in front of the face is not photography !
At least it's not "Portrait Photography" !!!
In my opinion, any subject deserves the best image which should also tell a story.
Gear doesn't matter if the framing and the lighting is nice but using very good equipement helps achieving amazing results and the looks making a picture exceptional !
Sometimes I even delete very good pictures if they don't correspond to my criterias and my good friends always tell me I'm crazy... Maybe I am but I really want to have my own style and my quality standards are very high !
I'm actually very critical about my own work and I guess this is what makes me improve !
This is also why I use mostly prime lenses which are always better than the best equivalent zoom lens !
I always look for the best pose for portraits, the nicest facial expression an a gorgeous light... Using flash anytime it's needed to have te best possible light in any situation.
I also love night photography, specially in cities with all the lights around giving often very beautiful backgrounds with smooth bokeh !
Call me a "Bokeh Addict" if you want !
